Minnesota Power and CAD Join Forces for Energy Efficiency

John Doberstein with Minnesota Power Energy Efficiency outreachCommunity Action Duluth and Minnesota Power have joined forces to encourage owners and tenants of income-eligible multi-family rental buildings to conserve energy. On behalf of Minnesota Power, Community Action Duluth will perform outreach services to identify electric energy savings opportunities. This includes replacing incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), replacing lighting fixtures with energy-efficient options, metering refrigerators and documenting results for possible replacement, and hosting energy-awareness events.
